After cleaning up the Building M after the pour on 1/15 we immediately formed the columns that are located on the perimeter of that slab on Monday 1/17. Six were completed on Monday as well. In the meantime the other crew completed the fine grade of L Building and after the bug spray Tuesday morning around 10:00 AM that crew covered the slab with vapor barrier, installed the grade beam rebar and completed half of the rebar mat for the large depressed area that is within that slab. Tuesday night we had a bad rain so we had to pump out water and recehck underslab conditions for the first half of the day. Being a 26000 SF slab with a significant amount fo grade beams and slab thickened areas, the process dewatering process interfered with our production for a number of hours.
Once the dewatering was completed we started to form the depressed areas of Building L. The large depressed area contains a perimeter dowel and basket sytem on the North side with a double multiple elevation perimeter with the dowels installed 1' o.c. We agsin had rain on 1/16 but this time the amount of water remaining this morning was minimal luckily.
